The School of SMHM has Won Its Three Consecutive Chinese Medical Association Science & Technique ‘Health Management Award’

On January the 7th, 2012, the Chinese Medical Association Science & Technology Award (CMASTA) Ceremony has been held a grand in the National Conference Center in Beijing, several political celebrities such as Wang Zhizhen, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, He Luli, the former vice chairman of NPC Standing Committee, and Chen Zhu, Minister of MOH and chairman of the Chinese Medical Association, has attended the meeting and prized to the winners. Pro. Zhang Liang, the director of SMHM, and Pro. Yao Lan, also attended this meeting and received the awards.

The Chinese Medical Association Science & Technology Award is sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association and approved by the Ministry of Health and the Minister of Science and Technology ever since 2001, and is the highest award in Chinese Medical field. Between 2010 and 2011, the CMASTA has selected 15 first prizes, 51 second prizes, 93 third prizes, 4 Health Management Prizes (HM), 2 Medical Science Population Prizes, and 1 International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Prize. The Chinese Medical Association Science & Technique ‘Health Management Award’ was established on 2009, and has only granted 2 HM Award every year. And we are so proud that the school of SMHM has been on the list every year.

In 2009, Pro. Fang Pengqian has won a HM Prize by virtue of “the Corporate Governance and Its Path in Chinese Public Hospitals”; in 2010, Pro. Lan Yao has won a HM Prize by virtue of “ Revenue and Expenditure Management Theory and Practice in Community Health Service Institutions”; and in 2011, Pro. Zhang Liang has won a third HM Prize by virtue of “Performance Evaluation and Improvement Research on Township Hospitals in Poor Rural Western China”.
